the dream

Based upon a dream I (amber) had around Christmas of 2005, and the events that followed up to the point of interpretation of the dream, this drawing brought back all the amazing lessons I had learned from the previous interpretation.

Inspired by a fun photo shoot, and an original shot taken by my brother, this piece was constructed to demonstrate different color schemes.

The Angel

The Angel was a joint project between Amber Patrick and Estee Pittman (a high school artist at the time). Painted almost entirely with a pallet knife, the surfaces are greatly raised adding a beautiful texture to the piece. Unfortunately, The Angel was stolen from the International School of Beijing after Estee’s senior exhibition.
If anyone ever sees her anywhere in this world, WE WANT HER BACK!!!

And although Anastatoo no longer exists in Beijing, the logo still rocks! :-)
